Curtiss Wright Surface Technologies India Pvt Ltd will be a new hub for aero structure and MRO operations. Opening in January 2023, this facility will offer a wide variety of services from shot peening to dry blasting, COD, and boiler tube ID peening, to support the local market and industries.
With India being the 3rd largest and fastest growing aviation market in terms of domestic tickets sold, this is a core industry for the country. This new facility will be able to help maintain the growing sector and provide surface technologies to ensure components and planes are protected from stress corrosion cracking and other common problems they face under extreme heat and thermal variations. We will also be supporting power generation, industrial and off highway vehicles within the division.
Currently servicing the requirements of clients in all regions of India through our Bangalore facility, we provide a source of reference and advice on many aspects of materials and component fatigue life improvement. With this new facility we will be able to help more companies across the country with their coating requirements.
We can provide help on enabling cost effective production, making critical components last longer and perform more efficiently, reducing maintenance costs and plant downtime.
